The Winston Trucking Services, LLC Group will always strive to provide efficient and affordable trucking services to the Landscape communities and to the Heavy-Duty Highway Construction, Commercial Development and Residential Development communities. We will do so by being personally involved as owner-operators thereby ensuring strict accountability and attention to detail on each project on a daily basis.
The Winston Trucking Services, LLC Group is composed of over 25 dump truck and dump trailer owner-operators, and other specialty associates. Herb Winston, as lead driver of this Group, has been in the heavy-duty trucking and construction business for over 20 years.
Herb Winston served proudly in the United States Navy for 27 years before retiring to begin his trucking business. Herb enlisted in the Navy in 1962 and rapidly advanced through the enlisted rates, eventually receiving a commission as a Chief Warrant Officer Ship’s Clerk (W-2). Herb subsequently advanced through the ranks to W-4. Herb served at various duty stations in the continental United States, overseas and onboard various ships, including the USS America (CV-66), an aircraft carrier home-ported at the time in Norfolk, Virginia. Herb retired from the Navy in 1989 as a Lieutenant (Limited Duty Officer), commonly known as a “Mustang Officer” with prior enlisted service.
Herb is now applying the same level of dedication and attention to detail in leading the Winston Trucking Services, LLC Group that ensured his success in the United States Navy.
